1975 125 gauge made from PVC
1977 115 gauge made from LDPE
1980 The first revolution, Mobil introduces 90 gauge X film, three-layer cast, co- extruded film made from LLDPE
1985 Mobil produces 80 gauge from LLDPE which becomes the industry standard
2000 The second revolution: Pinnacle Films introduces Apex cast, co-extruded film made from mLLDPE; 63 gauge becomes the new industry standard.
2009 All Apex films are now NanoLayer™
All Pinnacle films products have cling on one side of the film/no-cling on the other side as standard.
